We use these in classes to line up the gas block when using the bore scope. Knurled Tip Set Screws are a once and done item, so using this to line things up not only saves time but also prevents you from wasting good set screws while mocking up stuff.

If you have a Set Screw Gas Block with 10-32 bores, this item could be what you were looking for.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Not all Gas Blocks use a 10-32 Set Screw. Most Set Screw Gas Blocks are 10-32, but not all.

2) Go VERY slow when using this tap. The maximum depth you want to tap is .450

2) Do not exceed 10 uses for a small tap like this one. Small taps can break off with heavy use.
