This Punch Set is what we use in the shop to remove stubborn Front Sight Base Taper Pins. These hardened Punches are designed for durability and professional use.
We suggest you use a 2 pound Hammer with these Punches.
This Punch set includes 3 different Punches. The largest Punch is designed to get the Paper Pin started. The next Punch is designed to drive the Taper Pin below the surface, and the last Punch is designed to drive the Taper Pin out of the Front Sights Base.
The largest Punch is also used to reinstall Taper Pins.
