This NEW Bolt Support Ring NOGO Gauge looks for undersized Bolt Support Rings on NEW Bolts and to see if the Extractor Tail sits too high. New Bolts can be brand new and the Support Ring can still be undersized.
Wear can cause the Support Ring to be undersized but this is NOT a Wear Gauge (We sell a separate Gauge for that).
This Gauge looks for both (undersized Support Rings & high Extractor Tails). Using a micrometer or caliper is less accurate than this gauge so this is what we use at School of the American Rifle.
These Gauges are X Class and are accurate to 0.00004
The Gauge Set includes:
1 NEW Bolt Support NOGO Gauge (Red Color Coded)
Important Notes:
-This Gauge has never been shown on SOTAR Videos or Posts. We use it in Classes.
-If your Bolt Ring goes into this Gauge, reject the Bolt.
-If your Extractor Tail sits too high and wont go into the Gauge, reject the Bolt.
-Bolts shown in the pictures are NOT INCLUDED.
