-Precision machined from 4340 tool steel alloy per SAE AMS6415T/AMS6484D
-Heat Treated
-Shot peen per ASTM B851/SAE AMS2430S
Extractor has a hand polished Ramp at the edge of Extractor Claw to enhance reliability and reduce damage to your ammunition.
Extractor Spring Pocket is opened to accept Colt Gold and SprinCo Extractor Springs without crushing them.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1)Never force an Extractor Spring into the Spring Pocket. It can reduce the service life of the Spring.
2)Check that the Extractor does not bind on the Extractor Pin or the Bolt.
3)Its good insurance to replace the Extractor Spring if you are installing a new Extractor.
